Specific Responsibilities:
- Evaluate machines at start of shift to ensure proper working order.
- Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during production.
- Set all machine operation information (Centerlines) such as speed, gain, tension rider, roll pressure and chucks prior to running.
- Load materials into the machine and properly web the machine.
- Maintain a clean working area.
- Continuously monitor machine to ensure optimal running.
- Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.
- Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are completed.
- Perform safety checks on every machine.
- Ensure that machines are producing quality products by completing periodic checks on output.
- Ensure stock of needed materials is always ready and available.
- Accurately complete any and all paper/computer work associated with job.
- Direct, supervise and collaborate with Crew Members.
- Work on waste reduction and improving productivity.
- Complete Powered Industrial Vehicle written and hands-on certification.
- Follow and enforce ACC policy and procedure to uphold the Quality Policy and promote customer focus.
Qualifications
- Swing Shift – Must be able to work a rotation between days and nights.
- 1 year in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- High School degree or equivalent
- Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds and standing for at least 8-12 hours a day
- Must pass pre-employment physical
Benefits
- Salary $24/hr to $30/hr (depending on experience)
